I’m using RoR to develop a scientific database on genetic diseases for the Stanford Genome Technology Center that will be public soon, and will be using it for various internal databases soon once this project is out of the way.
I’m also playing with it at home for geeky gaming hobby projects.
I’ve started doing some bioinformatics scripting in Ruby, trying to get away from PERL where possible.
